Sharon Douglas, CM, LEED Green Associate
Environmental Business Group Manager
As the Environmental Practice Leader for CERM, Ms. Douglas manages the CERM team responsible for delivering exceptional environmental and sustainability professional support services to our clients. Prior to joining CERM, Sharon worked for ten years in local government, managing the environmental department for the world’s busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and served 13 years as an environmental consultant for public and private sector clients, bringing innovative thinking and initiative in building first of its kind environmental and sustainability programs in each organization served.
Sharon is an active Regional Board member for the National Society of Black Engineers, and volunteers to support numerous committees on a professional and community level, including the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and local school Parent Teacher Organizations (PTOs).
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University and is a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives. Sharon lives in Tyrone, Georgia with her son Jackson.
